Article Spills Terminator Salvation Plot Details (SPOILERS)

Okay, first of all, I’m not kidding when I tell you that I’m going to be linking to a post by the site ComingSoon that has, pretty much (or nearly) every detail about the plot of “Terminator Salvation”. There are some missing parts there, but man, it’s pretty thorough, and to be honest with you, I read the first two paragraphs and just stopped reading, because frankly, I don’t want to know that much about the movie before I go see it.
Here’s how the article starts, talking about the Marcus character:
“So we start in a prison cell. We’re in a prison in the middle of America. It was going to be Texas but it might be moving it around just a touch. We meet Marcus. He is a naughty boy who’s obviously been given the death sentence and these are the last few hours before he’s put to death. He’s then greeted by Serena who might be Tilda Swinton, might not be, we don’t really know yet (It wasn’t, it ended up being Helena Bonham Carter). But she comes to the bars and she comes in and talks to him and gets him to give his body over to science. He signs a piece of paper thinking he’s going to be chopped up and made into whatever, but little does he know he’s gonna be taken away into her secret lab where she’s gonna play with him. So from here we then take him down into our execution chamber where we give him the syringe filled with goo which supposedly puts him to death but it doesn’t.”
Onto the rest of the movie:
“(So) we’re flying through following a missile fired by an A-10 Warthog and we’re coming closer and closer and closer to this arrangement of wonderful big radio telescopes. And what we’re saying is that this is how (the Terminators) communicate with each other. So the missile comes in, it’s a guided missile. As it’s getting closer and closer you start to see humans wandering around the place and you don’t know is it human, is it Terminator? What is it? The bomb goes in – BANG! Huge explosion. The whole thing comes up in the air and one of our guys falls to the ground only to find out that he is actually a Terminator and this is a Skynet installation. Helicopter comes in, the tread of the helicopter comes down and crushes the Terminator to the ground. A guy gets out, shoots him six times in the head and we pull up to reveal John Connor. Oh, it’s going to be stunning!”

Most of this is already known in forums and trailers anyway.
I read it. It’s the same as the novelization of the film. They didn’t give away the ending, though. I’m still excited to see the movie.
I having been the greatest critic of Mr. MCG here, but I don’t have the bravery to read all, but if someone ready and find it’s crap I want o know because, i don’t want spend my money with crap, I’m anxious, I have to say, but I prefer see for myself, but I insist if it’s real bad, if real sucks as I’m predicting, please tell me, I have the right to know, Thanks.
I read through the main article ( warning some spoilers ) ,
It states somewhere that marcus does not know that he is a terminator . Now that just seems highly unlikely , considering that he would no longer think like a human because he is a sentient machine . Though he does seem to act as though he is a human that awoke from coma ( which really does not make any sense because he is in fact a machine ) in any case , how could he not know he is a terminator seeing as terminators vision is not in color and has multitudes of parameters providing calculations / Intel on his surroundings etc , quite different to any humans vision … Also in one scene one of the resistance fighters tackles him to the ground , how can a human spear tackle a terminator?? and then he uses a famous quote from T2 ” come with me if you want to live ” a human saying that to a terminator?, give me a break . Another thing is what sort of terminator is marcus , because we know that the T-600`s have rubber skin and are easily noticed by the resistance , either marcus is a T-800 or that resistance member was having a bad day .We know full well that in this current time line the T-800 series has not been developed , so …???. I forgot how many potential plot holes i just mentioned , i wont bother counting .
Well Antonio, when the T-1000 were released in 1991, people find it horrible, the Terminator is Liquid metal? how, mercury? How it works, and bla bla bla, there is holes in the plot also.
But in this case, in this Nonsense, SAlvation, I have to admit, we even have a way to see good things come from it, The whole thing is smelling stupidity, the whole thing is looking like money grab, for few bucks indeed, It’s so absurd, that people are finding the greatest thing ever, I’ve heard even that McG is going to do best than Cameron, with Transforms Terminators, moto terminators and all, Those guys never watched Xenogenesis by Cameron, they don’t know who Roger Corman is, it’s sad.
If you watch the film before then me, come here and tell me ok, I will be forever thankfull about you, first because I’m going to take my T1 and T2 DVDs and watch the whole thing again,and why not, the Sarah connor Chronicles DVD also, not so good as the originals, but is entertaiment. One thing is real I will not support McG and his Skynet Producers. Wake Up America.
About this thing, last Terminator of Skynet ( A Termiantor that feels like Humans) If he is so advanced why we don’t have Plasma Rifles on the future, but accept this nonsense of a advanced Terminator that feels, Jerks, and some people arguments that they are in 2018 and they don’t have technology to built, Oh my and the technology to Build MArcus Wright, Jerks, how many arguments you still have Húnh, No plasma rifles, only in McG mind, Ass hole.

They all seem to be well educated on the themes of the film and of the previous films. They hardly ever speak about the effects or action sequences.

Well if you watch TSCC you will see that they have a T-888 in our modern day and it’s being used to teach a sentient computer ethics, feelings, morals etc.
With this TV series you could possibly see how Marcus Wright who is not known to be from Salvation’s time or not COULD be a terminator model from that alternate line just far more advanced.
I even believe in the trailer they say it’s something we’ve never seen before.
It’s not that far fetched given the way the series likes to play with alternate but similar lines of time.

Well if you watch TSCC you will see that they have a T-888 in our modern day and a T-1000 is coordinating things to teach a sentient computer ethics, feelings, morals etc while using this T-888 as the computer’s body.
Hence possibly why he says this isn’t the future my mother talked about?

@ Orphic; I can’t find one imax theater that is showing terminator (including those new fakemax screens one of which was just put in a few blocks from my house; the only big difference is the vastly superior sound system and five bucks–4 tickets = $66!)
All the imax screens are showing night at the museum 2 according to fandango, this may not be such a bad thing since the film is supposed to be intentionally grainy plus add the ’screen door effect’ you get with the digital fakemax screens and you can understand why terminator in imax may be rare or may not even happen at all. The last i heard about terminator imax was months ago, so it could have be that plan went south since.
Anyone has watched it in Cannes already, we are just waiting, I’ve heard a girl of G4 and she, well, she fid it Good, specially MArcus Wright.
