Terminator 4 Plot Update from James Middleton

Terminator 4 Plot Update from James Middleton

For some reason, Sarah Connor Chronicles producer James Middleton seems to really know a lot about what’s happening with the upcoming Terminator franchise from The Halcyon Company. Which is good news for us, because he reveals quite a bit. Here’s what he says via the folks over at IGN

Garret Dillahunt Joins Sarah Connor Chronicles

Garret Dillahunt Joins Sarah Connor Chronicles

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Garret Dillahunt has joined the cast of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Dillahunt’s character and Chronicles is described as “a mysterious character named Cromartie”. The name makes him sound like some ominous character, possibly a villain? But if THR is reporting it, it has to be a pretty big part on the show.

Wil Wheaton Auditions for Sarah Connor Chronicles

Wil Wheaton Auditions for Sarah Connor Chronicles

Actor Wil Wheaton recently auditioned for a character that has a multi-episode arc on The Sarah Connor Chronicles and talked about his experience over at his blog (here). In case you don’t remember Wil, he used to play young Wesley Crusher on the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. We haven’t seen a whole lot of Wil since, and apparently he’s been spending his time doing a lot of blogging.

Claire Danes Doesn’t Want to Do Terminator 4

Claire Danes Doesn’t Want to Do Terminator 4

When asked by MTV if she’d like to come back to reprise her role of Kate Brewster in Terminator 4, Claire Danes wasn’t very enthusiastic. In fact, she basically dismissed it, and mentioned that she felt “kidnapped” by the whole production. Uh oh. Doesn’t sound like she wants to come back for anything, which is too bad, because I really liked Claire as Kate in Terminator 3. Here’s the full quote by Claire from the article:

Edward Furlong Back for Terminator 4 Movie?

Edward Furlong Back for Terminator 4 Movie

Someone dropped an email to AICN about the possibility of Edward Furlong returning to play John Connor in the Terminator 4 movie, basically supplanting Nick Stahl, who had taken over the role with Terminator 3. It’s completely unsubstantiated and is probably just a stupid rumor, of course, but here it is anyway…

There hasn’t been a lot of news about The Sarah Connor Chronicles lately, which is to be expected with the show not even premiering until next year. But here’s an image of Summer Glau doing a promo shoot for the show that I found. Summer plays Cameron, a good Terminator, on the show.

The cast of The Sarah Connor Chronicles were at the 2007 Comic Con in San Diego over the weekend to help hype up the show to the geeks. Not everyone could afford the air fare to attend, of course, so seeing pictures from the SCC panel discussion is the next best thing. The main cast were there, including Richard T. Jones, Summer Glau, Thomas Dekker, and Lena Headey. Some great pics from the event can be found below.

I’m not sure why there is a Sarah Connor Chronicles poster, but I guess it looks pretty cool. Since when did TV shows get movie poster-like posters, anyway? Oh well, it looks cool anyway. This one was at the 2007 Comic Con to promote the TV show, and was originally posted here. Check out the poster below.
