Entertainment Weekly caught up with Christian Bale, star of the upcoming “The Dark Knight” (the second installment of his and Christopher Nolan’s Batman reboot), and got him to talk a bit about the progress of the “Terminator 4″, which has since dumped its “The Salvation Begins” subtitle. Here’s what Bale had to say about T4, which doesn’t amount to much. Basically, nothing’s been done yet, and he’s still waiting to come on board to star as an adult John Connor.

If Episode 9, “What He Beheld” was not originally meant as the Season 1 finale, then it was one hell of a replacement. It makes for a great progression on nearly every storyline that has been introduced in the show so far, including FBI Agent Ellison’s growing awareness of Skynet, Brian Austin Green’s growth as Derek Reese (Beverly Hills 90210 what?), and young John Connor’s gradual acceptance of the man he will someday become. And yes, we learn a thing or two about Sarah Connor as well; for instance, despite her toughness, has she ever actually killed anyone?
The question on every T:SCC fan’s mind is, “Will FOX renew the show for a second season?” After watching last night’s cliffhanger, all I can say is, “They damn better!” Over at his site, The TV Addict has a list of five very good reasons why FOX will have almost no choice but to renew the show for a second season. There’s actually only three good reasons, the final two are more like gags. Still, the first three reasons are pretty good reasons to believe FOX will pick Sarah Connor and brood up for a second season. See if you agree.

Well, it came and it went, and FOX still hasn’t announced yet if they will renew Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for a second season (although for my money, it’s a sure bet that they will, but who knows with networks nowadays). What we want to know is, what do you think about the T:SCC Season 1 two-hour finale? Was it worth all the wait? Did the show’s first season (despite the shortened season) meet or exceeded your expectations? Which part of the show are you most disappointed with? How about Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese?

Well it’s here, way sooner than we expected, or wanted — the Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Season 1 finale, a two-hour block, premieres next week on the show’s usual Monday timeslot. The Season 1 finale will be composed of two episodes — 1.08 and 1.09, titled “Vick’s Chip” and “What He Beheld”, and if the previews are any indication, this thing is shaping up to be something of a major clash between the SCC gang and the Feds, with a Terminator thrown in there to mess things up. Your preview of the Season 1 finale below.

Warner Bros. sure isn’t wasting any time with the upcoming fourth installment of the Terminator franchise, titled “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins”. With the major casts just recently established (led by Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, as John Connor and the mysterious Marcus, respectively), the WB has announced that T4 will be released in the Summer of 2009, pitting it against the Ben Stiller sequel to “Night at the Museum”.

If last week’s episode, Episode 6, “Dungeons and Dragons” taught us anything, it’s that it’s hard to trust someone from the future, whether it be a killer Terminator or the brother of the greatest love of your life. We’re talking about Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green), of course, who has proven to be a liar and a bit of a killer. And according to previews of next week’s episode, Episode 7, “The Demon Hand”, it would appear that Derek will be more of a problem than a help to Sarah Connor and John. Here is your complete preview of “The Demon Hand”.
