Here’s a look at a behind-the-scenes video of the cast doing promos for The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It’s “not” hosted by Thomas Dekker.

The FOX guys have launched the official Terminator/Sarah Connor Chronicles wiki, which you can find and start contributing to right away. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Wiki.

This is great news. It looks like FOX is not going to be sitting on their laurels and hope people tune into The Sarah Connor Chronicles when it premieres in January 2008. Instead, they’re doing a major media blitz, and in fact, if you were watching Game 7 of the ALCS between Boston and Cleveland last night, you might have caught a couple of SCC commercials where an unseen Terminator searches for Sarah Connor by ID’ing all the faces in the crowd.

FOX just sent us a new promo picture from the upcoming Sarah Connor Chronicles, which is coming to a TV screen near you in January 14, 2008. So don’t miss it! The new image looks really good, and features Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, and Summer Glau on, of all things, a fire escape? What are they doing on a fire escape? Um, maybe they’re “escaping” the evil Terminator? Or something.

Just got word via email from Sarah Connor Chronicles producer Josh Friedman, who tells us that the show has been given a firm premiere date by FOX — Monday, January 14 at eight o’clock. If you’re a FOX watcher, then you know Mondays in January belongs to FOX’s 24 TV series. That’s right, FOX has decided to air SCC right before 24, which should guarantee the show plenty of eyeballs in its debut, thus giving it the best chance to succeed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Garret Dillahunt has joined the cast of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Dillahunt’s character and Chronicles is described as “a mysterious character named Cromartie”. The name makes him sound like some ominous character, possibly a villain? But if THR is reporting it, it has to be a pretty big part on the show.

Actor Wil Wheaton recently auditioned for a character that has a multi-episode arc on The Sarah Connor Chronicles and talked about his experience over at his blog (here). In case you don’t remember Wil, he used to play young Wesley Crusher on the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. We haven’t seen a whole lot of Wil since, and apparently he’s been spending his time doing a lot of blogging.

There hasn’t been a lot of news about The Sarah Connor Chronicles lately, which is to be expected with the show not even premiering until next year. But here’s an image of Summer Glau doing a promo shoot for the show that I found. Summer plays Cameron, a good Terminator, on the show.

The cast of The Sarah Connor Chronicles were at the 2007 Comic Con in San Diego over the weekend to help hype up the show to the geeks. Not everyone could afford the air fare to attend, of course, so seeing pictures from the SCC panel discussion is the next best thing. The main cast were there, including Richard T. Jones, Summer Glau, Thomas Dekker, and Lena Headey. Some great pics from the event can be found below.
