Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau, and Richard T. Jones were all present today at the 2007 Comic Con convention held at San Diego. The occasion was to show convention goers the Sarah Connor Chronicles pilot episode, which according to IGN, was a big hit. Espeically Summer Glau. More from the convention:
I’m not sure why there is a Sarah Connor Chronicles poster, but I guess it looks pretty cool. Since when did TV shows get movie poster-like posters, anyway? Oh well, it looks cool anyway. This one was at the 2007 Comic Con to promote the TV show, and was originally posted here. Check out the poster below.
Rumor is abrewing that Robert Patrick, who played the unstoppable killer Terminator the T-1000 in “T2″, might make a return to John Connor hunting on the small screen by guest starring in an episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The news comes courtesy of “consulting producer” James Middleton, who said this about Patrick’s possible return to the small screen:
Okay, I was always a little skittish around this part of the show, but since it’s out there in major newspapers and even Sci Fi Wire (where this article is from), I’m going to accept that people know Summer Glau plays a Terminator (though a good one!) on the show, and that she was sent from the future to help John by, well, John. (Remember, in all the movies, and the show, one presumes, Future John Connor is still sending re-programmed Terminators back in time to save himself against Skynet’s killer Terminators.)
MSNBC’s Test Pattern blog has an article about the upcoming Sarah Connor Chronicles TV series, and one of the most interesting things it mentioned was producer Josh Friedman saying about the show that it will be “in essence, creating a new “T3″ timeline”. This is very interesting, as I’ve always thought the whole concept of SCC would seem to defy much of what “T3″ set up and, in particular, ended.
FOX released these three clips from the pilot episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles to promote the show when they were showing it to press a while back. Here are all three clips in one YouTube video:
There is an early scene in The Sarah Connor Chronicles where a Terminator disguises himself as a substitute teacher in order to get to John. When the Terminator comes face to face with John, they are both in a classroom, and the Terminator, being the cold-blooded killing machine that he is, pulls out a gun and starts shooting. Well apparently that was too much for FOX, especially in light of the Virginia Tech college campus shooting, because news is that the scene is being “reworked”, whatever that means.
