Edward Furlong Back for Terminator 4 Movie?

Someone dropped an email to AICN about the possibility of Edward Furlong returning to play John Connor in the Terminator 4 movie, basically supplanting Nick Stahl, who had taken over the role with Terminator 3. It’s completely unsubstantiated and is probably just a stupid rumor, of course, but here it is anyway…

It does sound like Edward’s “agent” is working overtime to get his client some A-list work again. Edward has been stuck in B-movie hell for the last few years, doing nothing but cheesy horror movies that goes straight to video or worst, to the Sci Fi Channel. No offense, Sci Fi Channel.

I really do feel bad for him, honestly. Like, when he was younger he seemed to be doing really well for himself, then next thing you know he’s an adult addict who lives in the sci-fi channel. I honestly wouldn’t mind watching more of his movies if he didn’t look like a zombie in most of them.
He was soo cute in T2 too. I love that movie.
Its a shame what he has done to his life. I mean to be given such an amazing opportunity completely out of the blue (im refering to cameron giving him the role of John Connor in T2) and to follow it up with a truly amazing role in American history X, only to flaunt it with an incredibly bad attitude and a drug addiction to boot. Ive gone off the guy completely, i was a little upset when the rumours of him reprising his role in T4 surfaced, but luckily for us its gone to none other than screen legend Christian Bale. Hopefully this will be the best terminator film to date!
