Fantastic Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 Promo

By Sam (Admin) | August 6, 2008 (12:48 pm) | More: Sarah Connor Chronicles TV Show News

So if this new 1-minute long promo from FOX is accurate, than Season 2 seems to be the year when John Connor either embraces his destiny as mankind’s last hope, or he rebels against it. It sure seems like Johnny boy is going the whole rebel part, if his dialogue in the promo are any indication. Check it out. I think this is the best Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 yet. Plus, they give us more of Shirley Manson’s Catherine Weaver category. What is “Babylon”? And why did Cameron tell John that he can “no longer be trusted”? And is that a new Terminator I see? What happened to Cromartie?

By the way, giving John a girlfriend? I’m still hating it.

Hi there,

First i love the series..i think that season 1 was great ( wish they had more special effects, bu still great!!)..but season two look more awesome more action and i think you are right when you say he is gonna rebel..i hate it when they do that…but it also says Boy Becomes Hero…so eventually he will come around…well about that girlfriend thing..ofcourse it makes a bit less cooler…but don’t forget he still is a teenager and he says when can i start living my life in the promo..well maybe the girlfriend thing is the bit normal thing he will have in this battle…

I can’t wait till it starts…cameron is soo cool…she can look really creepy she plays also on 4400 and ther she was creepy too..

Later..

The girl friend thing is still an issue I’m on the fence about as well- but the weirdness surrounding her and her mysterious father (a glimpse of him in one of the last episodes of season 1)- certainly leads me to believe there will be some kind of star crossed theme (like mayhap her dad is part of this new “babylon” division). Which could end up lame if handled poorly. Course there’s the weirdness at the highschool (the suicidal girl, the random graffiti) that was never (in my opinion) resolved well at all.

But I do want to see more future flashes and evolution of the story line involving John’s uncle and Cameron. In the end, I’m still excited. I think it started off a little rocky but was on a dead awesome run by the end. I hope it keeps up. (My only other quibble being Lena Heady- I hope she starts showing a bit more steel in her backbone in season 2- I really think she’s the weakest link in this cast.)

I think the suicide and random graffiti was just part of the high school drama and a way to teach cameron about human emotion or something like that.

I think Lena Heady plays an excellent Sarah Connor. Sarah had a major transformation in T2, and Lena executes the new subtleties of Sarah’s character perfectly. Sarah has grown. I don’t think Lena’s Sarah is any less “bad ass” than Linda Hamilton’s Sarah. Lena can kick some butt.

Best promo Ive seen in a while, for any show… I keep watching it over and over, ha ha.

aside from the girlfriend, everything looks great.

I would like to continue watching T: TSCC. I love Lena. She kicks some major ass as Sarah. In the promo, is John telling Sarah that he doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone including her or to Cameron because if it’s at Sarah, that’s pretty harsh and who is he protecting there was a body on the floor. I hope no one dies. Other then that great promo.
