FOX Orders Two More Sarah Connor Chronicles Episodes

Well, it’s not FOX ordering the rest of Season 2 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles like we had hoped, but it is something — at least for those of us looking for a silver lining in what is quickly looking like very dark times for the Connor brood. According to the official Sarah Connor Chronicles blog, the producers have been given the greenlight by the network to pen two more episodes past Episode 13, the last TSCC episode we would have gotten if FOX declined to order the rest of this season. Now let me stress that FOX has just asked for scripts for two more episodes, and as far as I can tell, this doesn’t mean the producers have been given the greenlight to actually put the scripts into production. Of course I could be wrong, but this is my understanding from the blog entry below.

Because so many of you, our most devoted fans, have been asking, we wanted to set the record straight!
While the fate of the show past production on episode thirteen is still unclear, FOX has given us the go-ahead to write two more additional episodes for this season — fourteen and fifteen.
We are hard at work writing those episodes and await news of a potential pickup for the full “back nine” (additional episodes to complete the season) in the near future. We’re crossing our fingers (and dotting our i’s) that we’ll have more good news to share with you soon…
In the meantime, keep tuning in! Get your friends interested! And thanks for all of your support.
So there you go. Two more episodes are currently being written past Episode 13. I guess that’s sort of good news, considering that there hasn’t been a whole lot of good news lately. Take it for what you will, boys and girls.
P.S. For those tuning in tonight for the latest TSCC episode — there won’t be one. The show has been bumped for the MLB Playoffs, and will return next week.

If my team wasn’t in the Playoffs, I would be mad (I love TSCC).
So, this week, root for the Dodgers.
Next week, root for TSCC.
If you want to save the Show write the Advertisers, tell them you angry that fox is considering pulling the show, and if fox does you won’t buy there products, that will put a fire under the ass of advertisers. Writing the network & online petitions rarely have any effect. If this show gets canceled I will seriously consider canceling my satellite subscription. I am SO sick of all the shows like getting canceled while crap like American Idol and Dancing with the stars, getting an open door, to clog The stations that mindless tripe

also jericho, family guy, star trek, veronica mars,roswell,designing women, cagney and lacey. all of those shows were saved by either letter writing campaigns or dvd sales.

I really liked the shows last year and looked to watch each show. Each show has surprises, was action packed and were sharp and well directed. It was with displeasure that I learned that TSCC might be canceled and hopes to season the first show when it came back. I expected more of there was late year so that the advertisers and the producers would want to hold on to it for our sake. The first two shows were absolute stinkers, absolutely terrible. While I really like the female robot, this is not a time to showcase her past and more. The 2nd show was ridiculous. Chasing after the wife and Sara chasing to get her back. Baddddddddd. The 3rd went back on track. The shows from now on need to be consistent, bold and right on spectacular for it survive and hold off Idol and the others. Chuck I have seen on DVR but I watch TSCC. The next few better we good otherwise it is kiss it goodye.

For me, first two episodes in season 2 were almost perfect ! But Allison From Palmdale is the best, yet.
I agree with you that show needs to be consistent, bold a little bit more, but…there is not any episode that i can call terrible, sucks etc.

Well this is certainly better then hearing the shows been canceled. I do not think TSCC is safe yet, but this bit of news makes me hopeful I still think they should move the show to Wednesday or something, but the idea that Fox is ordering new episodes at all tells me that TSCC is not dead just yet. I hop we get some more good news in the near future
P. S. I really hope MLB playoffs interrupting TSCC does not become a reoccurring annoyance, because waiting for the next episode is a long wait as it is without having to wait two weeks for each episode.
They will have TSCC next week, but the World Series may get in the way of TSCC the following week. Fox has the World Series, and if there is a Game 5 (which is very likely, as only a sweep can prevent it), it will be on Monday night, Oct 27th. Therefore, I predict we will have another week off for the World Series.
That being said, maybe it is a good thing. The more weeks go by, the less Monday Night Football games will take viewers away from TSCC during the back 9 if ordered (the season doesn’t last forever). Also, Dancing With The Stars only goes to Nov 25th, so the more weeks off we have for TSCC, the more episodes air after the biggest competition is gone.
I did not think about that but, I think you are right. I did not think I would say this but in that case the MLB playoffs can take their time. By all means please take your time. Let the compition play iself out I sure do not want Fox to have an excue to kill TSCC.
I always loved the Terminator movies. They’re off the chain. I’ve been watching the series from the beginning. Last season was so-so, you know, nothing special but still ok to watch. This season, however is ridiculous. The show just became unbearable to watch. I was watching it last week and Jonh’s uncle from the future was trying to be funny when he was in the uniform and I just had to turn the channel, that was so stupid and what a shame to Terminator. This series doesn’t stay true to the original movie storyline so why is it such a big deal? Cancel this crappy show ASAP. Put Prison Break back to its’ original 8 o’clock timeslot. If this show continues it may very well make the WHOLE Terminator experience seem pretty gay and boring. This is coming from 10 people. None of my friends go online and post but I do so this is from all 10 of us———CANCEL THE SHOW. ITS GARBAGE!!!! MAKE MORE PRISON BREAK SEASONS INSTEAD OF MAKING US SUFFER WITH THIS CRAPPY SHOW!!!
What the Hell is your problem? Do you even watch the show? You call yourself a hardcore Terminator fan. HA HA HA are you serious. HA HA HA you’re kidding me right. I suppose next your going to say that Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines is better then this show. Please do not make me laugh again. T3 sucks. Sarah dies before the movie even takes place. John dies before the war ends in 2032. My friend that is what sucks TSCC rules. Writing such an important character like Sarah Connor off like T3 did is just wrong, and unacceptable. TSCC is cleaning up the mess left by T3 and I for one prefer TSCC to T3 any day. TSCC is great if you give it a chance and if you do not like it fine it is your loss but do not come here just to bash the show. Watch the show and if you do not like it then just wait for Terminator Salvation and shut up.
P.S. To hell with Prison Break I hate Prison Break I watched a little of it I can’ believe it has lasted this long what a waste of an hour.

Yeah I do I love this show and excluding T3 I love the movies and I am looking forward to Terminator Salvation, and for the record Terminator 2 Judgment Day is my favorite Terminator movie, but I like The Terminator as well,and I despise T3 for the reasons previously stated above.
My top 3 favorite Movie Characters are.
1 The T 800 all three movies. What can I say Arnold is assume
Sarah Connor I like her more during T2. Sarah is cool on TSCC if a bit toned down, although I will say that I have been a little irritated that Sarah has done little more then play babysitter in the last two episodes. Hopefully that will change in The Tower is High but the Fall is Short. Considering that Linda Hamilton made this role famous. I think Lena Heady has done a great job.
3 Kyle Rees I think John Connor’s father is a total badass. I hope Terminator Salvation does justice to Kyle Reese. I also love how Josh Friemen has managed to sneak Kyle into TSCC buy using Derek Reese’s memories of the Future War.
My top three favorite Characters in TSCC are
1 Cameron Cameron is one of the best parts of TSCC. Who would suspect a teenaged girl of being a killing machine? It is the perfect disguise. It is also hard to figure out what her true goal is. She seems to have a hidden agenda and that is what makes her interesting. Summer Glau is an excellent actress she did a great job plaing Allusion Young during Allison of Palmdale, and she does a great job playing Cameron every week.
2 Derek Reese Derek serves as the father figure for John, and he is a decent if not great replacement of Kyle, though I will never think Derek is better since Kyle Reese was the original Reese. Derek is also a great foil for Sarah as he is willing to kill and Sarah is not.
3 Cromarte Cameron plays Arnold’s role as the protector Terminator Cromarte plays Arnold’s original role as the Terminator sent to eliminate John Connor. I did not like him at first. I thought Cameron made Cromarte look like a total loser in the pilot, but he has caused quite a bit of chaos since then. I thought what he did to dup Sarah and Derek to get them away from John during The Mouse Trap was pure genius. He came extremely close to killing John.
So am I a hardcore Terminator fan? Yeah I think so.
So, you can tolerate “Prison Break Season 4″ in despite of its miserable story, but you believe in that TSCC is unbearable because of Derek Reese’s thing (really what)?
PB is, yet another slam on true prison life and so fictional that I almost laughed. The story lines are terrible, the same exact story continued on 2 seasons. It should be a drama but in season 4 they’ve must been confused about the genre, if it’s a comedy or fantasy.
No one could approach to a prison by just WALKING up to the fence and chatting with prisoners. Or Panama prisons do not leave dead guys lying out in the sun etc. Obviously you didn’t mention it. I think 10 of you guys were busy with messing up science fiction instead of the real life.
Overall, Prison Break is better than adequate for tired, brainless rainy-day’s in front of the TV, but offers very little of anything intelligent or innovative
Just go see “OZ” if u want a good prisonseries.

If this show gets cancelled i will be sooo P.O.’d! Screw nine more episodes, I say we go for nine more seasons! I’m getting my friends to watch the next episode.
If Fox is smart, they’ll promote the SCC’s at that MLB playoff.
if FOX wants this show to be more successful they need to advertize alot more this is one step forward but we want the back 9 and season 3 i hope fox does the smart move and not cancel the show that would be very stupit considering the upcoming movie and the francise.

Well apparently our emails are slamming Fox and WB. I just got contacted by the lady who’s the head of Fox Publicity who politely asked if we could remove the WB contact off of our campaign since he’s not directly involved in the show.
I’m thinking that probably means, she got a call saying “my mail is getting clogged, can you ask those crazy fans to remove me off of their campaign?”
She did say that the AskFox box is checked several times a day – so our emails there should get sent to the right place. She also didn’t ask us to remove Kevin Reilly off of the letter campaign – so we’re a-go for that!

MLB? Who watch that?! I can’t believed Fox bench TSCC for MLB. Baseball is soo boring and why order only 2 extra episodes? Why not the rest of the 9 episode as well. Prison Break gets 22 eps and TSCC get only 13? rip off.
This is exactly the reason why NBC is beating Fox cuz everytime there’s a good show on fox it gets cancel. Lousy Fox executive.
