Leven Rambin to Play John Connor’s New Girlfriend

Looks like John Connor is finally going to get some cuddling time, and it’s not with Cameron (thank God?). The Hollywood Reporter reports the casting of Leven Rambin (pictured, left and below) to play a character name Becky in Season 2, a potential love interest for John. I guess this means Cheri Westin (played by Kristina Apgar), the mysterious girl at John’s high school that he’s always trying to talk to throughout Season 1 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is falling by the wayside. Probably for the best, as all the mystery about her didn’t really make sense, although that might be due to the strike shortened season more than anything else.
More about Leven Rambin from Wikipedia:
Leven Alice Rambin (born May 17, 1990 in Houston, Texas) is an American soap opera actress. Her father (Joseph Howard Rambin, III.) is co-founder of Moody-Rambin, the largest locally owned commercial real estate firm in Houston. Her mother is the former Karen Stacy Guthrie. Her brother’s name is Joseph Harper Rambin who is currently enrolled at The University of Alabama. Her older sister, Mary, is the designer of the Moe handbag line and resides in New York City. She is the granddaughter of J. Howard Rambin, Jr, former CEO and president of Texaco oil company.
She began performing in school plays. She studied at the Houston School of Film and Theatre and at St. Francis Episcopal Day School where she starred in her first school play before relocating to Los Angeles when she got cast on All My Children (her first professional acting role). While acting, she is also studying to get her high school diploma through the Texas Tech University Independent School District.
Rambin joined the cast of ABC’s All My Children in February 2004, playing the role of Lily Montgomery, the autistic daughter of Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey).
On March 30, 2007, Rambin began juggling dual roles on AMC. She continues to play the autistic Lily Montgomery, as well as her street-smart but lovable older half sister, Ava Benton. She later appeared on an episode of Law & Order: SVU. On February 28, 2008, Leven will appear on NBC’s new series Lipstick Jungle. Leven will appear in film for the first time in Killer Film’s independent picture, Gigantic. The film stars and is produced by Paul Dano. Leven filmed a pilot presentation for the CW titled “Austin Golden Hour”, directed by Sanford Bookstaver in April 2008.
Leven Rambin was the only actress from All My Children to be nominated for the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. She was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her roles of Lily Montgomery and Ava Benton.
She is also a fashion model signed with Ford Models.
Wow, John Connor is going to get himself a former model. Lucky dog. Well, at least until that whole end of the world and savior of mankind stuff rears their ugly heads again, I mean.

wtf he dont nned a gf…
He only needs one girl; Cameron. I think that’s where it will eventually end up. Hopefully this other girl will be short lived and Cromartie will kill her off or something.
That’s unless Cameron gets to her first!
lets hope one of them does, though if its Cam it’ll be the most one sided catfight ever. If she does become Johns girlfriend I dont see it working out between them; how would he explain his disappearing all the time to fight Terminators and prevent Skynet? I think they’ll date for a bit and break up, and eventually Cam will get with John, if not in season 2 then in a later one (they’ve already got ideas for season 3 and 4 if they get the green light). Lets face it, Cam’s the only girl who could handle John’s life.
Girl? xD But I agree with you, Cam and John have to be together *-* they are so cute *-*
Well, ok, Tin-Girl, then. I do think they will get together, I think this new girl Becky, if she does date John, will be there to add tension between them, and by the end of season 2 will be history (either in dumpsville or just plain dead! my hope’s on the latter)
yeah cam and john all the way!!!
I agree with Steve, Cameron is the only girl that could handle John’s lifestyle. Becky will probably create more problems. Let’s hope she’s finished off quick so Cameron can be with him.
