New Directors Being Hired for T:SCC Season 2

FOX may still be mum about whether it’ll renew Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for a second season, but it’s starting to look like that the signals are being sent out that Yes, a second season is not only possible, but probably very likely. The latest news comes from TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello, who has received word from anonymous sources within the network that the show’s producers have begun hiring directors to helm the show’s second season episodes.

I’m hearing that Fox’s in-limbo Sarah Connor Chronicles has quietly begun staffing up for the fall. According to insiders, Fox has given producers the green light to start booking directors for next season’s first three episodes. While this is no guarantee that SCC is returning , it’s obviously a very good sign.
Seriously, what’s the deal with FOX? Everyone knows they’re going to renew the show, they should just come out and announce it already. It’s getting ridiculous, this waiting game.

It’s great to hear that we’ll be potentially treated to a second season. Frankly, with all o the play they put at the SUPERBOWL alone, I would be surprised if they cut the show after only nine short episodes. I am excited to see a season 2 for sure, and hope that they keep the series short, qith quality storytelling and avoid the pitfalls of the common denominator. Thanks for your insight! It would not bother me one way or the other whether they ran a 2nd season. I think the story line is good and is pretty interesting and would have made a good book but the way it is directed and the cast they have used is pretty naff. Why do FOX insist in the stupid way the photograph the cast, standing back to back nor side by side and posing for the camera, it looks stupid. They have the same photography for 24, lost and Battlestar Galactica too. Is it an American thing? If I was in charge of this project I would be canvassing the opinions of the fans big time. Everytime FOX or other film studios touch somthing these days they seem to get it all wrong. They should stop messing around and leave movie making to the professionals. All involved in T3 should be hung out to dry.
Great series! I’m a fan of the original, so I was hard sell. You did a great job; it didn’t take long to get use to the new face of sarah connors, this actresses vibrance and physical fitness help make the series believable.
