Nick Stahl Talks T4, Sarah Connor Chronicles

It’s hard to read into the comments by actor Nick Stahl, who played a 20-something John Connor in T3: Rise of the Machines, because he seems to be all over the place. In an interview with MTV, which caught up to Nick at the Sundance festival where the actor was showing a couple of indie films, Nick seems to hedge his bets — he wanted to do T4, he didn’t, maybe he did, etc. But there is one thing Nick was clear about — he has never seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and he ain’t never gonna see it. Says Nick, “I’m not a big TV guy.”

“I don’t care really, to be honest,” admitted the 28-year-old actor, at Sundance recently to promote “Sleepwalking” and “Quid Pro Quo,” two upcoming indies with decidedly smaller budgets than “Rise of the Machines.” “I don’t have much interest.”
In regards to the soon-to-shoot “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins,” Stahl said he had been told some time ago that his considerable talents would not be required for the fourth movie, although he is scratching his head over rumors that Bale will be 30-years-old in the flick.
“They said it would be a 50-year-old man, but I guess they reduced the age a little bit,” Stahl said of how the franchise producers had explained the plot to him. “That’s what they told me very early on [in development of the ‘Salvation’ script]. That it was gonna take place further in the future, and I probably wouldn’t be on.”
I still can’t read into what he’s saying up there. Did he want to be in T4, or didn’t he? I would have loved to see him come back in T4, but apparently I’m the only one.

I certainly hope that Nick Stahl is NOT starring in T4, he gets on my nerves totally anoying. A shame of T3.
I actually like Stahl in T3. I think he brought plenty to the (now older) role. The dynamic between him and Kate Brewster was definitely something that got me interested, but it was how the characters were handled at the end of the movie that really sealed the deal for me.
STAHL IS SO JOHN CONNOR!!!
He was like the perfect actor for T3
when my friends were talking about it before i saw it i pictured John looking just like Nick Stahl
I CAN BELIVE HE ISNT DOIN T4
NO!!!!!!!!
COME ON NICK FOR ALL YOUR FANS !!!!
Hey read my comments on previous pages about T4, I think. Nick Stahl wasn’t the problem! It was a crappy script that was way too short. Anybody who thinks he was a whiner or annoying, think about it. How would you approach you day to day knowing that you can’t be found or you’ll be killed and that everything you do won’t matter because mankind will be wiped out; THEN you get to do something worthwhile. All the crap you grew up with, thought you resolved, is still gonna happen anyway. T2 john seemed ‘normal’ brat because he believed his mom to be a pyscho, he became proactive because at his age he thought they were stopping it from happening. T3 John is now alone, bitter, angry and withdrawn, because HE HAS TO BE!, If it doesn’t happen, good, if it does, bad but he can’t DO anything with his life, because if it is suppose to happen he can’t be found by terminators. So, no real job, house, car, ANYTHING! OFF THE GRID. Watch it again people. It wasn’t Nick Stahl, it was a poor script and too short a movie. Cath. Brewster - her story arc should have mirrored Sarah’s from T1 nearly the same.
