Rachel Weisz and Chloe Sevigny Want T4 Role

I actually read this news weeks ago, but I didn’t believe it. But now it seems that a whole lot of people are running with it, so what the hey, it just might be true. So what’s the big news? That Oscar winning actress Rachel Weisz and fellow actress Chloe Sevigny are currently “battling” for the female lead in the upcoming T4 movie. No, seriously. I’m not kidding. Read on for the info…

Here’s what iF Magazine had on this:

During a recent Dazed and Confused magazine party (a party to which we were not invited, he sniffily added), actresses Rachel Weisz and Chloe Sevigny separately approached Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, two of the big shots over at Halcyon, about appearing the new TERMINATOR franchise that the company owns the rights to. TERMINATOR 4 is being written by John Brancato and Michael Ferris, by the way, and even though the production seemed to be held up by rights issues, that no longer seems to be the case, if these ladies’ interest is anything to go by.

You know, I still can’t quite believe it. Rachel Weisz has an Oscar. She shouldn’t have to “fight” against anyone for a role, especially a relative unknown like Sevigny.

Anyways, so what roles are they going for? Who knows. It can’t be Sarah Connor, because she’s dead when T4 begins. And it can’t be Claire Danes’ Kate Brewster, because the character is still too young, and we’ve already heard that T4 will focus on a new character who isn’t either Kate or John Connor, so who will it be…?
