Sarah Connor Chronicles to Premiere with 24

Just got word via email from Sarah Connor Chronicles producer Josh Friedman, who tells us that the show has been given a firm premiere date by FOX — Monday, January 14 at eight o’clock. If you’re a FOX watcher, then you know Mondays in January belongs to FOX’s 24 TV series. That’s right, FOX has decided to air SCC right before 24, which should guarantee the show plenty of eyeballs in its debut, thus giving it the best chance to succeed.

Here’s the email from Friedman:

Dear Sarah Connor fan folks–

Despite my suspicion that you will see through this as a shameless device designed to pander to the online community, I hope that you’ll be as psyched as I am to be the first to know that we’ve been given our premiere date — Monday, January 14 at eight o’clock. We’re being paired with 24– one of my favorite shows. (Kiefer Sutherland and I actually went to pre-school together but he doesn’t know it).

Thanks for your support and I’ll see you at the Emmys.
