Sound Off: What Did You Think of the T:SCC Season Finale?

By Sam (Admin) | March 3, 2008 (11:58 pm) | More: Featured, Sarah Connor Chronicles TV Show News

Well, it came and it went, and FOX still hasn’t announced yet if they will renew Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for a second season (although for my money, it’s a sure bet that they will, but who knows with networks nowadays). What we want to know is, what do you think about the T:SCC Season 1 two-hour finale? Was it worth all the wait? Did the show’s first season (despite the shortened season) meet or exceeded your expectations? Which part of the show are you most disappointed with? How about Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese?

Sound off: What did you think of the T:SCC season finale?

i thought it was pretty decent, except i was really dumbfounded when they introduced that one latina girl and didn’t explain at all who the heck she was, she seemed like a terminator by the lack of emotion and movement she had, but then, if she was, why would Cam give her a gun and not tear or head off or something

Hector on March 4, 2008

With the writers strike and everything going on… they managed to make an excellent show. Myself and all my co workers can’t get enough of it.. it’s intriguing.. and addicting! I really hope FOX decides to keep this show going!

Cheers!

Alex on March 4, 2008

Summer Glau!!! DON’T TURN THAT KEY!!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam (Admin) on March 4, 2008

@ Sam (er, not me, the other Sam)

The Latina was from a previous episode (Sarah went to them for fake identities, remember?). I’m not sure, but she’s either related or is a member of the gang that was killed by the guy selling the Turk. By leading the good guys to the bad guy, she was getting revenge.

danny on March 4, 2008

All I know is they better have a season 2. This show is awesome. I am sad to see the season end.

eric. on March 4, 2008

I loved it. It was a huge cliffhanger so theree better be a season 2. Please Fox bring this amazing show back and dont kill this because its not a reality show.

PS- Reality shows suck!

april on March 4, 2008

The SC Cronicles is great, it has a very solid cast, a very rich back ( and future) story with plenty of room to grow and deepen. I REALLY hope that Fox realizes they’ve got a winner this time and renews them for YEARS to come!

I want to see what happens when April 21, 2011 ( Judgement day) rolls around for real, and see how/if the story resolves.

Cheers.

Sasha on March 4, 2008

They’ll have to bring it back, or risk having smashed TV’s all over the place. Especially pleasing was the final scene in #7 where Summer Glau’s ballet abilities were worked into the plot in order to humanize Cameron, the machine. The cast and script of this series have combined to hit a big home run in the entertainment industry. FOX should be very pleased.

RonDogg on March 4, 2008

I thought it was an excellent 2 hours, and it seemed to go really fast.

The City Hall subplot was awesome, I love seeing more of Derek in action.

I agree with the baseball scene, it was really moving seeing John’s reaction. The writing was excellent, and this show is continuing the trend of getting better with each episode.

The Johnny Cash song at the end was amazing. I watched it with my buddy and WOW was our reaction to the scene filmed from under the water. Simply amazing.

Overall an excellent pair of episodes. It is depressing that the wait will be so long for Season 2.

JillSaphic on March 4, 2008

I was impressed that they didn’t spoil the showdown with Cromartie
at the motel in the previews. It was SHOCKING.
Sorry to see the girl from “The Shield” killed off. The catatonic
Mexican girl was awesomely well played and written. Derek finally starts to show he’s a ggod guy,
and Sarah Connor finally got to smile really big. Since “they” cancelled Veronica Mars, I have looked forward to nothing on TV untill this show. I am sad it’s gone.
They ended it the same wasy as VM too, a cliffhanger with questions that we will never know the answers to.

James on March 4, 2008

I loved the season finale, especially the part when Derick tells john he knows that he is kyles kid and then they show young derick and kyle playing in the park…that was tight….i seriously hope they buy on to another season.

James on March 4, 2008

This show and Heroes are the only 2 shows i have watched on tv in a very long time…..not since star trek enterprise was killed off.

Balint on March 4, 2008

I hope that Cameron didn’t died in the explosion…

Jason on March 4, 2008

amazing episode, the park scene was perfect for the episode and they are crazy not to keep it going!

Szonyi on March 4, 2008

“How about Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese?”

What? I think he is good for the role…
Better be season two all I care for is this and Battlestar Galactica at the moment. :(

Beth on March 4, 2008

Best show on the air at the moment by far since it’s not a reality show, law drama, or medical dramedy. Loved the cliff hangar ending and realy like Brain Austin Green, just like the rest of the cast. PLease keep it coming!

mike on March 4, 2008

There seems to be a lingering feeling that a relationship between Cameron and John in is smoldering just below the surface. I’d like to see this theme developed slowly next season

ron on March 4, 2008

i absolutely love the series, if they cancel it i will need to hurt someone, alias was great to but gone now.
i hope this one keeps going…..if they replace it with some lame ass reality or star search show i will be pissed and fox will loose a viewer.

my 2 cents.

Jamer on March 4, 2008

I think this show is the best on tv right now, beside Supernatural. The mix of action and pretty decent story line work well with the entire Terminator story line.

The cast is very good, considering this is television. Anyone can say what ever they want about Brian Austin Green, but face it he is a decent actor. The whole 90210 deal just type-cast everyone from that show.

Having a “HOT” terminator on the show helps too. Cameron’s development and study of humanity will make this show interesting. It strongly parallels the whole Mr. Spock coping with his human side. I lok forward to seeing how much she learns and how “effective” she will be with regards to fooling people. Oh, and did I mention she is pretty “HOT”?

Tim on March 4, 2008

The show was awesome. I watched and recorded on DVR every single episode. If this show isnt renewed for at least another season, I’m never turning on FOX again. End of statement.

Carl on March 4, 2008

This show was great. Me and my sons really enjoyed the show. By the last few episodes my wife was watching with us and had to go back through the first episodes to catch up.
The only disappointing thing about the show was how short the season was.
Oh well, at least I have one show to look forward to next year. Please bring it back FOX.

Jon on March 4, 2008

I loved the show and every moment of it. The best part of the season finale was when John and Derek were in the park and John’s reaction to seeing younger Kyle was great. I was confused as to whether the Latina girl was a terminator or not because she seemed to move like a terminator and didn’t have any reactions, as from the second episode of the season, she seemed more human.

FOX better bring this show back. They BETTER! I am a huge terminator fan. My favorite is the 2nd movie and i can’t wait until May 22, 2009 for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

I hope sometime next season they talk about the forearm and hand that got stuck in the gears at the steel mill from Terminator 2. That wasn’t talked about in T3, but i haven’t read the Terminator novels or books either and the video games don’t talk about it either.

Matt on March 4, 2008

Man, I knew I was going to watch the series since I have been a fan for years of the movies. The best part about the show is that I was able to get my wife hooked and she loves the series as well. In short it was great and can’t wait for season two!

Dan on March 4, 2008

I missed the 1st hour, but as with the other episones, I was thouroughly entertained. I think it is a great series and I hope it will continue with another season. The terminator characters with dumb super strength, time travel, mystery, the FBI.., and Sara and the John Connor character, What more do you want?

Debra on March 4, 2008

The final eposide was fantastic. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Bringing in the mythological/biblical aspect was brillant. I think that’s why the FBI agent didn’t get slaughtered like the rest of his men - he had no fear of death. The future has changed because now there are other humans who know the truth and have joined the fight to save mankind. And Cameron - will John be able to rebuild her after the explosion? This is one of those shows that the network must bring back. Of course, they took two of my previous favorites off the air, Invasion and Surface, so who knows. They need to realize that there are a lot of us Sci-Fi fans out there and we would like something good and intriguing to watch, too. Enough of the comedy foo-foo stuff on all those other channels.

Rulemob on March 4, 2008

This show is “tight” I think that fox has a massive hit on their hands here. Sorry to see the short season also but man was it intense. Fox Bring it back for season 2. This show ranks #1 as my all time favorite with Jericho #2. Very well done show.

Tatiana on March 4, 2008

the latina girl was there at the beginning. i thought that the finale was awesome. i hate it when the season finale leaves you hanging, but the ending was CRAYZEE!!!! lolz. but i REALLY hope that they will make a season 2 for this show.

Bill on March 4, 2008

Wild about the series. If Fox doesn’t renew, they need to sell it to the SciFi channel and let them run with it. Of course, SF canceled FireFly, which I also loved.

What a world!

Steve on March 4, 2008

Cameron will be fine. If an exploding tanker of gasoline couldn’t kill Arnold in the films a pipe bomb isn’t going to take out Cameron, though she probably won’t look so pretty afterward.

RonDogg on March 4, 2008

Can’t wait to see ratings numbers for this one, I hope it was the biggest yet.

iTunes sales should also be strong as usual.

Sam K on March 4, 2008

Ok, Favorite show on TV, and if Fox doesn’t renew it, I’ll pass on every show Fox does put out. American Idol??? Please…. Enough crap TV Fox. Bring us Season 2 &^@#$%

Gary on March 4, 2008

This is the first network show in years my wife and I have watched. And it’s the only network show we’ve been watching this season. Perfect show? No, but it’s got the intricacies, the pathos, and (yes) the humor to sustain itself, I think. Let’s hope it gets renewed.

MISTERAMD on March 4, 2008

I have watched every episode with pleasure. Derek has a good gun ability. Without looking bad guy is dead. It’s a bit pitty that Cameron will be a half robot now after the explosion and this makes the “good crew Connor” (Sarah, John, Derek) a little smaller…I hope they can fight back at the upcoming Terminators.. FOX do not stop making this to an end, keep on making episodes as we ALL love to watch it. I hope Cameron survived, I like her…

Graheem on March 4, 2008

Great series. I hope it gets to go on too. Soooo much better than T3 (that John Connor sucked majorly). Of course (if show does come back) Cameron will rebuild, just as the other terminators have. Best show since Buffy.

Troy on March 4, 2008

No way Cameron was in the car when it blew… She saw the guy from the internet cafe walking away and her supercomputer brian would’ve known something was up…

Great series though. Couple of questions. 1. Was Cameron hitting on John? 2. How did Cromartie’s head sans skin travel through time?

Stephanie on March 4, 2008

i absolutely loved it! i hope they renew it. i want to know what happened to Cameron and if Reese will be back. this show is awesome!

random user on March 4, 2008

You could see she knew something was up as soon as she stuck the key in the ignition. Maybe I’m giving Summer too much credit, but I could literally sense her character thinking:

“Hrm. That’s an unusual noise.”

“It must be a bomb.”

“A bomb won’t kill me.”

“It will be better if he thinks I’m dead. We can use that to our advantage.”

“Time to turn the key.”

mtmai on March 4, 2008

Cameron has been stockpiling supplies (chips, wierd metal from the military site), so she can probably rebuild herself.

Kester probably didn’t kill the FBI agent, because he identified him as someone else who was also looking for the Connors. He would not kill a possible lead - but instead would monitor him in case he could lead him to Jon’s hiding place.

George Turner on March 4, 2008

I was thinking that Kester let Agent Ellison live because Ellison lowered his gun, which meant he was no longer a threat. Killing the FBI agents wasn’t part of Kester’s mission, so as soon as they weren’t a threat to him he stood down.

Using Johnny Cash music and not actually showing the action, just its result, was brilliant.

Aerdon on March 4, 2008

In the tunnels under city hall why did Derek say, “This is where I lost Kyle to the machines”?
Did I misunderstand him? Kyle died in the past, not the future.

FlyGrrl on March 4, 2008

Kyle met John in a concentration camp in the future, before they escaped and formed the resistance. I’m assuming the tunnels was where he was captured.

Mad Monica on March 4, 2008

I have to say, I was one of the folks who was groaning at the thought of this show. The only reason I watched it was because I’ve been such a fan of the Terminator series since the first film. To say I was shocked and surprised would be an understatement.

There were so many cool things about this season finale I can’t even tell you all of them. The scene in the park… It’s been a long time since I got choked up from a TV show, but that had me snifflin’. What a GREAT way to give John a glimpse of true family and give Derek some much needed humanity.

But the capper for me was the Johnny Cash song as background music. That song is creepy as heck anyway and always has given me the chills. It was used perfectly here. And I agree with others who have written that the shot from beneath the pool with that music backing it was absolutely viscerally chilling. I literally gasped when I saw “the man” walking away at the end. Fantastic work. Far and away one of the best shows television has had to offer in many many moons.

I hope to heck they bring this one back. Fox, dump some of the other crud floating around the the toilet bowl that has become network TV and bring this one back. Shows like this are as badly needed as a shot of TidyBowl in a gas station bathroom.

(sorry about the toilet analogies, but TV really has gotten crappy over the years)

suzique on March 4, 2008

The only thing I really don’t like about the show is the woman they cast as Sarah Connor.

now, i’m broad-minded enough not to expect Linda Hamilton II. That’s not my complaint. She looks like someone that somebody at casting central sent straight over from a fabric softener commercial. I keep expecting her to twirl around with bottles of Sunny D and Flintstone Vitamins. She sticks out like a sore thumb and she bothers me every time i see her on screen.

Other than that, it would be irritating if Fox decided not to renew it. Those cheapos get away with enough as it is by paying $2 an episode for American Idol. God forbid they spend $5 on a show so that Rupert won’t have as many billions of dollars at the end of the year.

RonDogg is a sissy on March 5, 2008

that episode was awesome. I was amazed dead body after dead body that dropped into the pool. Also, Johnny Cash is awesome. If they bring back shows like lipstick jungle and not SCC, better believe im gonna go ape s**t and burn seattle down (ya rondogg its me hehe). If Fox cancels this AND arrested development, I will ban all fox shows forever.

akbartb on March 5, 2008

This better come back, I live in Britain and the weather, the government and telly suck balls over here. FOX, it’s time for George W to pay us Brits back for invading Iraq with you. Keep this shit on the air!

Eelko de Vos on March 5, 2008

I’ve been utterly amazed that Fox has been able to create a series so full of promises, with wonderful acting and a blazing good storyline. It entirely supports the old ‘Terminator’ feeling. I take my hat off to the writers and entire crew.

Great characters (truly great!), wonderful sub-plots and only a few minor continuity errors that disturb me (i.e. the terminator head that comes through the wormhole while their clothes didn’t?).

Also, the sound is perfect. The way that music is used is very, very subtle and therefore strong.

And last but not least: the episodes contain a wonderful mix between action and cerebral moments…

cassis on March 5, 2008

I don’t understand why is not being renewed!! they have a duty to the fans, but I guess its about money/ratings blabla..

how cool is cameron? she’s like a robo-buffy, kicking ass!

i didn’t get the latino girl either, was she getting revenge? will cameron still be in one piece? i do think she defo knew about the bomb, and that it would be to their advantage if they thought she was dead.

WE’LL NEVER KNOW IF THEY DON’T RENEW THOUGH!!

RLCANGRI on March 5, 2008

If fox is having doubts about putting this show back for season 2 then do like I’m doing and flood the F**king Fox people wit emails not to cancel this its is the best i have seen in a long time. the cast is great and the ending left me begging for someone in fox to see the potential of this show cuz I’m not even a sci-fi fan and i love the story, concept, and action of SCC. THIS WILL BE FOX’s NUMBER 1 SHOW OF ALL TIME if it can go on like it has started. i take my hat off to the writers. SEASON 2 BATTLE BEGINS!!!!!

SilentHer0 on March 5, 2008

The season finale was terrific, I must agree with the disappointment of the shortness of the entire season, but that is to be expected with the writer’s strike. Other than that the show was beautifully casted and written. The show is terrific, I don’t see any point in cancelling it, there’s lots of viewers and Terminator is timeless. The show combines the action genre with some emotional aspects that make it great for a wide range of viewers. Season Finale just leaves you hanging off the edge of sanity, what will happen next? Let’s wait till next season to find out.

zach on March 5, 2008

One thing i find interesting about Camron, in the first episode, john asked what model of terminator she is, she said she was unique, in the second or third episode the one terminator in the safe house had i.d her as unknown, and maybe camron is an experimental terminator from skynet captured by John in the future and reprogrammed her, so maybe her skin didnt burn off, i mean they cant replace summer no way

yellowhat on March 5, 2008

Fox Law– this show will get cancelled because it is awesome. Just like Arrested Development and Firefly.

Gordon on March 6, 2008

The show has real potential. The Terminator girl, Camron is excellent. I struggle to find the woman playing Sarah Connor credible, but I’m working on it. However, the show should NOT dwell on John Connor being some sort of wussy boy. In the movies, he’s a bad-ass, albeit with a heart, but he’s a wild child. Don’t turn him into a typical teen in conflict with his mommy. There’s WAY too much emotional dueling between John & Sarah. Quit it. It’s just meaningless filler that takes away from the good parts. We need to see John evolving into the legendary leader he will become. Altogether, there is too much time wasted on what the humans are “feeling”, although Camron’s ongoing study of human nature and what differentiates humans from machines is good. PLEASE PLEASE don’t let John “fall in love” with Camron. That would be Sooooo cheezy - I would have to stop watching altogether. The movies were non-stop excitement, like a 2 hour Bar fight. Don’t let the series morph into the Breakfast Club.

wow on March 6, 2008

Wow…I really didn’t think that
the chronicles series were gonna
pull it off, as with Linda Hamilton, Furlong, and Arnold replaced,

but I think they did a great job,
the CGs are used pretty decently,
and the story line is really intriguing, I really look forward to season2

wow on March 6, 2008

oh yeah,

and I agree with the part that

John ‘falls in love’ with cameron,

I mean, it’s obvious that she(?)

is learning to become more humanlike, but…cmon..

thats definitely gonna be a minus to the show

ilan on March 6, 2008

To Fox. U Cancelled Dark Angel, look what it got you, dont you dare, do that again!

DM on March 7, 2008

1. Johnny Cash music and the pool scene - brilliant.
2. B.A.G. - He’s all grown up now so I think he’s credible enough to play Derek. Lucky turd though, dating Megan Fox.
3. While I like this Sarah, there’s something way more sinister about Sarah from T2. Remember when she asked Silverman “How’s the knee?” I haven’t seen the new Sarah act like that yet.

Final thought: Re: Cameron saving the chip and also trying to become more human….what if she IS trying to get John to fall for her? Maybe she’s just waiting for the right point in the timeline to kill him. It would be easier if they were close. Maybe. Just a thought.

Any, everyone in my office is hooked…hope they renew.

Mike in Idaho on March 7, 2008

I guess I’m a wierdo but I thought some of the best moments of this finale were in part 1 where Cameron is analyzing the performance of the other terminator in the videotapes (”He put his hand on her mouth, she liked that,”) or something to that effect. Very creepy and disturbing, I think Summer Glau didn’t do so well in the first couple of episodes but I think she is fantastic now. Love the fact that she just goes off and kills people all the time to show she is a robot! Don’t cancel this FOX, I’m still bitter from Get A Life, the Critic, Brimstone, and Arrested Development! Although please do cancel it if the producers try to work a Cameron/John relationship in, that would be worse than death for this show

larry on March 7, 2008

I gave this show a go after the awful opener — I agree with some of the comments here that the actor cast for Sarah Connor is just not credible (if, as she’s been described, “the fabric softener ad lady” was replaced, would she be missed? Hardly — and the show is based on her!).

But overall this season overcame the doubts about whether it would do the movies justice. The Terminator concept/story-line is rich enough to pound out a variety of different plots, so these guys did well.

The season finale was a master — my wife hates sci-fi, but even she got a chill watching the scene set to Johnny Cash’s “The Man Comes Around”. Brilliantly constructed. This show, and Heroes, has re-built some belief that you can carry out decent, non-geek sci-fi on TV. The human elements of the show stand out more than the CG — that’s got to be a sign of strong writing.

Finally — how good is it that you can download all the shows via iTunes? Thank god Fox hasn’t been as bloody minded re iTunes as NBC.

Great stuff. Bring on Season 2.

Michelle on March 7, 2008

As a fan of the 3 movies, I was looking forward to this series. I like how the writers infused the movie ideas (Sarah’s picture for Kyle), added more information (Derek’s day when Kyle left), and new story lines.
Because I love the original 3 movies, I hope that the writers continue to stay true to the original plot. T3 has John meeting Katherine Bruster in 2011. He has Cameron in the sewers with him in the future too- kinky? Will we meet John’s kids? Will Sarah go back in time to die?
Derek is obviously here to change the future. He took out one of Skynet’s creators already. Will he become a terminator himself?
PS- I LOVE the name of the newest terminator - Cameron! Clever homage to a creative mind!
Waiting for Season 2.

RZ on March 7, 2008

I don’t understand John seeing his father as a young boy. The numbers don’t add up. John was born in the 1980’s, and chased by the Terminator from the future in the 90’s so how could his father be a young boy in 2007?

Jon on March 7, 2008

Because Kyle Reese, John’s father, was sent back through time by John himself, knowing he was his father, from the year 2029 to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor from a terminator before John was born. In turn, Kyle made love to Sarah and giving birth to John the year after. If you didn’t see the first movie, WATCH IT!

People really really REALLY need to watch the 1st and 2nd movies so they can have a better understanding of TSCC, and to watch the 3rd movie even if it does not tie in with the show.

FOX, if your reading this, please bring back Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for a second season and more.

Rob on March 7, 2008

This is a great show, gotta keep it going. Cameron is the best part!

susan marie on March 8, 2008

oh key doh key!
I can’t believe they would even consider cancelling this! it’s the only show i actually what on the tv. The I watch online if i’m truely bored, and avoiding doing my homework. (university) Anyway, I loved part one for all the cameron parts. In regards to the sarah connor person who plays… well i keep thinking she’s to touchy feely… My mom thinks she’s perfect for the part though. The person who plays John is great. I couldn’t stand the guy who played in T3, but then i also couldnt stand T3. I’m glad they are just pretending that didnt even happen. Like the John/Cameron theme but believe it would kill the show if John truely thought he “loved” her. Derek: thought it was stupid at first but it really worked out. So in conclusion: We NEED a second season.

Paul on March 8, 2008

Excellent series!

I liked the fact the FBI agent wasnt killed, although the way the terminator stopped and looked at him, I got the impression he was reading something from a database, making a match and realised he should kill him.

Remember he seemed a little obsessed with saving the hand and hiding it from people. Maybe he will think he can use it for good, and it will inadvertantly cause the creation of skynet!

Edith on March 9, 2008

Fox bring the show back and for many years, please.

I have a comment on Cameron blowing up. I think blowing her up will give a reason to explain why she may look different in case Summer dosen’t come back. However I think she will come back. As far as her Carmeron blowing up I am not worry it’s a terminator and they can take more than a simple car bomb to rid off…lol.

Also on Cameron skimpy clothes (as some call it) I didn’t see a problem. I am a women myself and the only thing I can say is that I think she looks great and if they are skimpy sometimes it is because John might have explain she can use it to infirltrate in places better because of it. He sent a women t back for a reason. Anywho Fox bring the T:SCC back and I will keep watching.

raptor on March 10, 2008

Sarah Connor Chronicles far exceeded my expectations. You’ve got this family of four amazing people — Sarah, John, Derek Reese and the Terminator, each one is either superbad or brilliant. Sarkasian’s bodyguard could take out a gang of crips, but one little Terminator and he’s stuffed. Derek is basically the baddest elite commando in the whole human race he’s used to fighting hunter-killer robots so outgunning humans is fairly easy. John is even smarter than Skynet, and Sarah Connor is a badass supermodel. The private moments between John and the Terminator are also excellent.

Rich on March 10, 2008

Hasn’t anyone else figured out that the Cameron Terminator will end up being Skynet???

It’s the whole “I used to love her but I had to kill her” theme all over again. Think about it. Great Show anyhow…

Ryan on March 10, 2008

At first I thought this was going to be another ill fated scifi movie tie in like Logans Run the series or Return to the Planet of the apes
I think they picked the perfect Sarah Connor, this lady can exude all the emotions needed for this role.

When they introduced Cameron I though, God here we go, the sexiness factor. Wrong was I. She is scary and cold and her focus on priorities to the exclusion of all else is very chilling. I sat particularly shocked when the Russian brother and sister were being gunned down and she, having her priorities, did not do anything to help even though she initiated the process that ended up with them being shot to death in the apt. She just walks down the stairs as thought going shopping.

I will say though that the scenes of the future with Kyle and Derek in the rubble was a bit underwhelming, more as like an earthquake 10,0 hit the city. Certainly budget has to do with it, but more of the visceral carnage that skynet wrought, with human skulls and bones everywhere certainly couldnt have cost a lot of cgi work and would have really made the future look a bit more familiar as we know it from the series.

Bottom line though, this could work if they develop it closely and Im hoping to see it back soon.

doug on March 11, 2008

Summer Glau is good. Plays a bit to aloof for a terminator. Too purposeful in her reactions? John needs to find that middle ground betw. Furlong and T3, not believing but fearing the truth. Way too much on the grid though. Kyle Connor, John Reese? Thats what he uses for an alias? Why is he going to school. OFF THE GRID! If you’re not connected they can’t find you. Pretty simple. Finally to Sarah, she SUCKS!. So one moment she’s a frazzled mom, next a paramilitary wannabe, next a sad lonely woman looking for love? BS. Linda Hamilton nailed her charac. arc in T2, to insanely committed(literaly) to stoic, on the fringe, paramilitary chic. She even told john that he shouldn’t worry about her. I like the show. But some consistencies need to be remembered. Being a ‘mommy’ to john will not prepare him for war. Being aloof and hard on him will. Going to school? Really? But with out ‘regular’ interaction with the public then there’s no story is there? Just a weird bunch of wackos living on a compound blowing up stuff.
