Summer Glau to do Joss Whedon Dance Movie Next?

We all know that Summer Glau is flexible, but we just didn’t know how flexible. Well if she gets her way, our teenager Terminator will be showing off her extensive dance skills (she’s a trained ballerina, donchaknow) on the big screen in a movie by her former Firefly chief, Joss Whedon. According to IESB, during a Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles press conference Summer mentioned that Joss Whedon was working on a dance movie with her. Really? Wow. Read for yourself…

Details were sparse but when asked if there was a role she always wanted to play, Summer responded, “ [I have] always wanted to do a movie about dance which is something that I’m working on right now… Something that Joss Whedon is working on. We’ve kind of had this idea for awhile but we haven’t had much of an opportunity where both of us are available. But it’s something that we’re working on as much as we can.”

Was she joking around? I don’t know, but a dance movie by Joss Whedon starring Summer Glau? I can’t even imagine how this would work, or be any good. Then again, it is Joss Whedon, so why not?
