TSCC Preview: Season 2 Episode 5 (2.05) Goodbye to All That
John Connor is in the Army now. Well, sort of. Here’s your full preview of next week’s upcoming episode, entitled, “Goodbye to All That”. John and Uncle Derek Reese goes undercover in the U.S. military to protect another important member of the future resistance, yet another target of Skynet’s Terminators in the past, while James Ellison begins working for Catherine Weaver. Yeah, a lot of good that’s going to do for our bible-quoting ex G-man. Let’s just hope Ellison ends up finally contributing something to the show instead of just walking around looking sleep deprived.
Official Description:
John and Derek infiltrate a military academy in order to protect an integral member of the future resistance. Meanwhile, Weaver’s first assignment for Ellison takes an interesting turn of events when he discovers a specter from his own past.

its too late for that fabrice, even a spike in ratings likely wouldnt save the show at this point.

Guys I think the show is fine, I believe Fox knows that it is up against stiff competiton on Monday. No reason to shift it to Wednesday beacuse then casual fans won’t be able to find it. Shifting shows to different days usually makes ratings even worse then what they are. As long as the show stays in the Top 10 its fine.

Evan, I hear production has already shut down, and they have not ordered new scripts. it seems like a done deal to me, and its official anouncement will probably be made soon.
I hope Im wrong of course, but Ive already started getting used to the idea that the show is gone, and might not have any real closure either to end the series.

I hope so too. I will keep watching too. I guess next episode we get a look at Derek Reese’s new love interest. I hope she is more interesting then Reilly, as for tonight’s episode I loved it. Martian Bredell was not a bad character. He seemed to be a good soldier. I was sad to here Derek say he died but, I could kind of tell he was going to die considering the way he was talking to Derek at the end of the episode. I thought it was weird how John and Derek told him about the future to make him stay at military school. Catherine Weaver I can’t believe I am saying this but, she reached a new level of creepiness tonight. The way she killed that power plant guy was just, uh I don’t know how to put this twisted, wrong, I don’t know but, I do know this James Ellison better be carful what he does or says because, I could see her killing him anytime now that he is working for her. Anyway, we won’t get a new episode for 2 weeks that sucks, Man I really hope we get some good news and the sooner the better, anyway, Good Bye to All That I give it 5 of 5 stars. the last 2 episodes have been great I hope episode 6 is good. I hope we get to see it.

we’ll see it, they already have at least 9 more episodes in the can, and they’ll show what theyve made, no reason not to. they might end up cutting off the last episode er so if there was meant to be some major cliff hanger though to give some illusion of having closure. Im hoping they planned ahead and filmed a good alternate ending in case more episodes werent ordered.

no, fox is famous for cancelled shows with 6 million viewers
the dvr numbers are huge,the episodes in amazon or i tunes are well hightly
the problem is the day..fox need to move the show at wednesday with bones
that’s why we need to write them and WB (scott.rowe@warnerbros.com)
jericho. family guy. star trek. veronica mars. roswell. designing women. cagney and lacey. all of those shows were saved by either letter writing campaigns or dvd sales.

The show has been getting consistently good reviews, so I don’t think the quality is the issue. people just aren’t watching for whatever reason.
All the shows in the male demographic are failing in fact, Heroes, Chuck, Terminator all are missing the mark and could be in danger of cancelation if things don’t pick up.
