TSCC Preview: Season 2 Episode 6 (2.06) The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short
After taking a week off for the baseball playoffs, The Sarah Connor Chronicles returns to the airwaves, just in time to introduce a new (possibly recurring) character name Jesse (played by Battlestar Galactica’s Stephanie Jacobson), who will be showing up in the present to help out with the whole robot fighting angle. And hop into bed with Derek Reese, it would appear, thus answering the old age question: do freedom fighters in the future take time off from battling killer cyborgs to get laid? Here’s your preview of Episode 6 of The Sarah Connor Chronicle’s second season, titled, “The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short”, airing Monday, October 20, 2008.
Official Description:
What would a T-1001 need with a doctor? Sarah, John and Cameron may soon find out as they track down another name on their list. Elsewhere, a woman from Derek’s past surprises him.
Guest Cast: Dorian Harewood as Dr. Sherman; Shane Edelman as Matt Murch; Stephanie Jacobsen as Jesse; Mackenzie Smith as Savannah; Christopher Demaci as Photographer; Jennifer Chang as Receptionist; Kit Pongetti as Victoria; Derek Riddell as Lachlan Weaver; Preston James Hillier as Security Guard; Jake Soldera as Elevator Boy; Aixa I. Looks good, I hope Jessa brings more to this show then Reaily has, and we have another female Terminator fighting Cameron. I do not expect her to last long considering the preview images. I hope Sarah actually does something more then babysit in this episode Anyway TSCC does not dispoint often. I will wait for Monday and see what happens.

Will TSCC continue past season 2? Or will negative ratings and poor numbers of viewers cause the series to go bust? i hope it doesn’t, because im a huge fan.

This episode was pretty good. I would not call it great; it is good but not great. Jesse is an AWAL soldier, well that is different but not surprising. I thought her showing up out of nowhere was a little convenient and it seems she has been spying on John and Derek. My question is why is she doing this? This my personal opinion Jesse has jumped back to find Derek and kill John no John no Tech Com no war. We all die. And Sky Net wins and most importantly she does not have to fight. Derek better be careful we will see but I do not believe for second that she is on the Connor’s side for a second, but enough on her for now. Sarah for the third strata episode does nothing of course nobody really did anything other then visit that consoler guy. I expected Catherine Weaver to kill him half a dozen times throughout the episode but instead she hires him. I think it goes without saying that this is not good. The Red headed Terminator was pretty creepy. She was not all there. Her eyes were weird. Cameron and her have a pretty good fight in the elevator. Cameron killed her of course. I expected that considering that the preview images give it away. The chip burns out well that is new. Sky Net is getting smarter. I guess John has been recruiting quite a few Terminators in the Future and Sky Net is taking notice and this is a possible solution to that problem. John killed Sarkkission that was not surprising the way he did it was kind of shocking though, is John suicidal? I do not know but given what he is destined to go through I would not blame him for thinking about it.
I give this episode 4 of 5 stars simply because it is a bit slow and I think that there could have been a little more action other then Cameron vs. creepy female Terminator.

I give up. This show stinks. And I really wanted to like it. Since they have the ability to inject new characters at any point/time in to story, FOX must have decided they didn’t need to hire writers or something.
Cameron thinks she is human- and have has memories of the woman she “cloned”? If the terminator is running the company that builds Skynet- why does she need humans? Can’t she recreate SkyNet? She’s a freaking robot! A military school that has all of the students running around with automatic rifles? Painful.

that’s what she is trying to do create Skynet! apparently the doctor maybe Skynet’s father in that he helps it to grow up. she can’t let us, humans, discover her and it still takes human ingenuity to create skynet

Catherine Weaver is smart I agree but after last night I have to say there is no why she can do all this by herself, just because she is a machine does not mean she knows how to create Sky Net. That is why she needs the help of over egger humans unaware that they are setting up there own destruction.
As for Cameron acting human she was damaged during the season opener and suffered damage to her chip. Which lead to what happened later in Allison of Palmdale when she thought she was human she believed it until she saw all of her dormant memories of herself interrogating the real Allison Young.

This episode was good, although it was little slow on action. The thing in this episode that is bugging me is: who the hell is that redhead terminator? Why would skynet send her to assassinate doctor if the same doctor actually helped him/it to develop intelligence, second she was definatly weird looking for a humanoid terminator and i have a feeling there is more up to it then it seems. And I do agree with fabrice I also think jesse is going to try kill john.

Its funny that you would say that because that was my first thought too when I saw the pictures that she pushed under the bed. Jesse will try to kill John I have not doubt about that then Derek will have to choose between his nephew and his girlfriend. I would hope Derek would choose family first but we will see. Jesse wanting to kill John would not be surprising to me because when she talked about John with Derek she spoke with what I took as bitterness. Why else would she take those pictures if she was not planning to kill him? After all she made it pretty clear early that she has no intention of stopping Judgment Day. I agree with you she is defiantly here to kill John.
