Vin Diesel as a Terminator in T4?

Now here’s an interesting news. It comes from Aint it cool News, and offers up this possibility: Vin Diesel, star of “The Chronicles of Riddick” and the “Fast and the Furious”, is being rumored to be in talks to star in the upcoming T4. He will, of course, probably end up playing a Terminator if this is true and he gets the job.
On top of that bit of rumor, I’ve also heard another juicy rumor concerning someone who could slap his living tissue over metal endo-skeleton. I’m hearing that Vin Diesel is taking meetings with the Terminator people and the assumption is it’s about him being a Terminator… of course, I’d love it if they cast him as one of the resistance fighters instead, but I could see him being a good Terminator.
I wouldn’t mind Diesel in T4. If you’ve seen any of his interviews, you’ll know that he’s a real geek, and loves this sci-fi stuff, so he would bring a lot of enthusiasm to the role.

Wow. I really wish they could get Vin is as the Terminator. I think it’d be the perfect project for him. He’s been missing in action for some time now and the films he’s done really hasn’t cemented his image as the ultimate Hollywood action star. Chronicles would probably be the closest.
The Rock really doesn’t need T4 on his Resume. He’s doing well by himself. Vin on the other hand could use a spice up. Plus he’d be very believable as a bad guy. Even more so that Rocky. Ironically I don’t think McG is gonna use any big names or focus on the Terminators as much. Even Christian Bale would have been a cool Terminator. Hell, even a muscular Terminator chick would be cool.
